I'm applying to top 20 universities, and will be taking my subject test this Sat.

I've got French (560), Chinese (790) and Maths II (710) scores in hand already, and planning to retake Maths II to raise it around 780-800, and Chemistry.

However, I really suck at Chemistry, and had been doing preps and mock and unable to get my score to 700s. My best mock score is 680, normal range is about 600s. Given that I'm applying to such selective colleges, should I still take the Chem test this Sat or not? Some schools need 2 subject tests, and Chinese subject test wouldn't help cause I'm Chinese. Am I only left with the option of taking Chemistry? What if I end up really badly and I can't send my good Maths II score along...

Seems like you’re just gonna have to bite the bullet on this one. Also, one lackluster subject test score shouldn’t impact your chances of admission too much. (I hope this is the case because I got a 680 on Math II)

Thanks guys! I did some Barrons and got my score up to just 700! Fingers crossed that I can maintain the score on test day, but thanks for the contribution :)
