Take SAT or ACT

I am a High School Junior. The college I want to go in requires – SAT or ACT and 2 Subject Tests. I took PSAT but I wasn’t able to prepare for any tests because I had to move a lot last year.

Which Test should I take SAT or ACT or both(I dont think I have much time)? And Why?

Which book(s) should I buy?

Do I have enough time to prepare for these exams? (I have more than 3.85 GPA in High School and I am a High School Junior)

The due date to take exams for my college is DEC 2007.

Thanks

Take the SAT first, and if you are not satisfied with the score, then take the ACT. I posted this in another thread. There is no specific book; Just see what is available for checkout in the library. Do NOT use Grubers for the writing section.

Take a practice test for both the ACT and SAT and see which one you prefer. There are free ones on www.review.com, and the tests are pretty good, a lot like the real ones.

If the schools take either, they really don't care which you take, so see which one sucks less for you.

:-)

Why not both?!

Because taking more tests than you have to sucks.

Haha - actually some of the passages in the CR sections of the ACT/SAT are really interesting...

take both. you're a junior... you have plenty of time. all the spring and early fall test dates...
you should really just take one of each to see which you do better with.
