im planning to take an AR course called collaborative art and i heard that you need to attend plays/shows and such. does anyone kno or has ever taken the course tell me where these plays are held and are they hard to get to. because im taking a lot of hard classes this fall and was wondering whether it takes a long time to get to these plays. thanks to anyone who can help.

I took the AR course called Dramatic Imagination and it was not bad at all!!! I do not know what are the differences between Dramatic Imagination and Collaborative Art, but they are similar in that you have to attend plays around the city. Most of the plays are in Old City, Center City, and Temple Campus. Some of the theaters can be tricky to find, but I found most of the plays to be enjoyable/thought provoking and it was a good experience overall. The class was very easy, I think I got 98%. Collaborative Art is probably good too, so it is a good idea to take that or Dramatic Imagination for your AR requirement especially if the rest of your classes are hard.

I think someone told me that class was a joke. Not sure, though. Not really my kinda class :P

thanks very helpful.

do i need to pay money for the plays and are they held over the weekends or on weekdays? plus usually during what times do the plays start? morning, afternoon, late at night?

No, all the plays are free for Temple students as long as you go on the assigned days. The plays are scheduled for multiple days so you can select which day works best for you, and they are usually held at night around 8:00 PM.
