Taking a free period junior year?

So I was in AP Biology and just switched out. With three weeks left of the semester, my final grade was not going to be good. When I went to my guidance counselor, she told me that I would have to finish the semester and then switch next semester. The problem is… the grade that I was going to get would show up on my transcript. So she told me that if I switched into junior privilege for the rest of the semester it would not appear on my transcript. Junior privilege is basically a free period where you can come in late or leave school early. I guess my question is… will colleges think badly about me taking a period off junior year for the fall semester? My schedule is:
Semester 1:
AICE Lit
AICE US
Math Analysis Honors
AICE Global Perspectives
AICE Sociology
DE Fundamentals of Speech comm.

Semester two:
DE Anatomy and physiology
DE Anatomy and physiology Lab
AICE Lit
AICE US
Trig honors
AICE Global Perspectives
AICE Sociology

Not at all.

Although they will wonder why you are not taking a lab science and are taking a free period.
What do you want to major in?
If it is STEM, it won’t look good.
Make sure you take Bio, Chem and Physics during hS.

^ OP will be taking a lab science (with lab period) second semester.
The free period is 100% fine.
However you’re missing Foreign Language - remember it’s one of the 5 core classes, unless you completed it through AP sophomore year. Plan on it for next year if need be.
