Taking a practice test the day before

I have two Real ACT tests saved up, you guys think I should take them either the week or day before my ACT date so I can get into the mindset? I do a lot better on tests if I'm confident.

Not the day before. But do one the week before and then look over what you got wrong the day/night before

I would recommend doing your last practice test one week before the test date and go over questions in detail during the subsequent week. The last date I would recommend doing a full, timed practice test is three days before the exam.

Try to relax the day before and get a good night’s sleep. Take a practice test in the week prior to your test date and thoroughly review your results.

Definitely do them the week before. I took the ACT twice and did a practice test the night before, and I got a 34 and 35 respectively. Then again, cramming has always been my strength. If you don’t normally cram for tests I don’t recommend it. Good luck! The ACT is all about pacing, so the more you practice the easier it’ll be!
