Taking a summer course before transferring

So I just got my evaluation and it says that I am not eligible for AA-T because apparently I had to take the same subject lab and lecture for the Science requirement. I took an Astro Lab and Geography lecture thinking it would be okay because my counselor never said anything. Come to find out, I’m unable to get my degree this spring because of it.

My question is… I just got accepted into East Bay. Will they let me take a summer course before transferring? Because I know they only accept spring grades. I also applied to CSULB, SDSU and UCSB. I know those schools especially UCSB are very strict when it comes to fulfilling the GE’s before Spring of transfer.

I just want to know and be reassured .

Contact admissions and ask.

My impression is as long as the class isn’t required, you should be OK. The units should transfer. But, don’t trust your fate to my impression - confirm with your target schools to be sure.
