<p>Rustic Pathways has something like that with so many locations you could choose from though it is only for volunteer. Request their info for free. it is very informative.

<p>Omprakash.org has about 150 different partners in forty something countries. They offer travel grants (~$3,000) and recently put together an education/training program called EdGE for like $500. A bunch of students from FSU took it and got college credit. All the volunteer programs are provided at cost and are vetted.</p>
<p>I went through the training program and was very satisfied.</p>
