Taking a year out then transferring as a junior and rushing

I’m currently finishing my sophomore year of college, I always knew Penn was my dream school and I got in there originally, but gave in to my parents to accept Oxford. I’ve been unhappy there for two years and don’t want my college years to slip out my hands and look back and regret it- although I’ve now missed the transfer deadline, I’m thinking of taking a year out so I can apply to be a junior transfer. The thing is I’d really love to rush in a sorority, but I’d then be the age of the seniors and way older than my pledge class, so I guess my question if when you’re in a sorority do you hang out more with your pledge class or your ‘year group’ more? Should I just accept I’ve missed the college and sorority experience and stick out Oxford? Would it be awkward going at that age? (I’d be just 22 when I rush)

Why did your parents push you to accept Oxford College over Penn? Also won’t you be attending Emory next year? so maybe it will be a different experience than Oxford and you can rush at Emory.

Emory? I think you might have me confused with someone else?

wait do you mean University of Oxford in England?

Yeah!

Oh haha. I assumed you were only talking about American schools so I thought you meant Oxford College of Emory University.

Do you know if year groups mix in sororities? Or is basically pledge based?
