You might not be able to graduate if you do that...

I’m thinking about taking most or all of my classes pass/fail next semester. Why?

It’s my last semester of senior year

I don’t want to go to graduate school

A startup company takes up most of my time

Is there any downside to this?

Does your school have a maximum for pass/fail? Will all of these be electives? No major requirements or degree requirements?

If the school allows it and you’re sure you’ll put in enough effort to pass, why not?

My school doesn’t allow students to take any of their major courses pass/fail, just the gen-eds. Does your school have a similar requirement? Before doing this, I’d suggest talking to an advisor first to see if this is acceptable.

The “pass-fail” option is only available for internships that count towards graduation requirements at my school (nursing, education for instance).
