Taking an AP Course after taking the AP Exam

So I have an immediate scheduling concern. Tomorrow, I have to decide my schedule. I have the option of taking AP Gov or AP Macro. I was always planning on taking AP Gov, but I recently found out if I took Gov, I would have to give up my lunch period. If I took Macro, I would be able to have a lunch. In addition, I am taking AP Physics C, AP Bio and AP Calc and 2 other APs, and Macro at my school is known to be easier then Gov.

The thing is, as I was always planning on taking Gov, I self-studied for the AP Macro test last year and got a 5. At this point, I really don't care which class I take; I just need to take one because it is required. If I do decide to take Macro, a score I reported on my Common App, would a college view my decision to take a course which I have already taken the AP course in negatively?

(in case it matters, if I do take Macro, I would be exempt from taking the AP exam, which is mandatory at my school)

How is it that if you take AP Gov you won’t have lunch? Does your free period fall at some other time of day when there is nowhere for you to sit and eat a sandwich you’ve brought from home?

Why does your school require that you have either AP Gov or Ap Macro? Are these the only two options for you for a social science this year?

Speaking purely based on my uninformed opinion, I would look slightly negatively on someone who gamed the system this way. As a parent, I would be furious with the school that my child would be wasting his time in a class that he has already demonstated a mastery of.

Is there some way you could take an online course or Independent Study instead? Surely your school would take into consideration the unique aspects of your situation and make some accomodation.
