I'm a junior right now and we're doing scheduling at my school. I'm in ap chemistry right now and have a pretty solid A. I signed up for ap bio and ap physics c next year. Is this a good idea? I'll be taking other ap's (government, literature, psychology, and ab calculus). I know some of you guys are like geniuses and can handle this but I'm kind of uncertain if I can handle the workload. If I were to drop one of the sciences it would be physics.

So, how hard is ap chem compared to physics c? And what class should I take to replace physics (preferably not an ap (-:) if I were to drop it?

IF you are confident, do it. I did Chem, Physics C, BC Calc, and psych and it wasn’t really a problem except for senioritis. If you do do Physics, see if you can switch into BC calc, as the calculus topics are more on pace for what you will learn. Also ask around at school to see how hard the classes are. Physics will require a lot of hw(reading books to understand concepts and problems to practice practice practice!). Chem is probably a little less hard in some concepts, but there are quite a few, and some can just be confusing. Personally Physics is not that hard, but the concepts are definently hard, and the math is a lot harder. Good luck!
