I’m currently a junior in High school and I’m looking to take some classes online so I can have a small schedule next year (in FL).
I have taken many AP classes in the past like AP Human Geo, AP World History, AP Psychology, AP Eng Language
i’m currently taking AP Chemistry, AP Studo 2d, AP Literature, AP Seminar, and AP Environmental Science.
I’ve passed all of my AP exams in the past, and I’m curious to the difficulty of AP Government and AP Macro/Micro and if I should take it online.
I’ve also taken many online classes, but none of them were AP.
I’m looking for advice preferably from someone who took AP gov/econ online and if i should do that during summer. Thank you!
I took AP Gov my junior year and it was a breeze. It was basic stuff with a bit more depth from stuff you learned in 6th grade. I never got homework and my teacher usually just lectured, and gave us packets to review for tests.
I’m planning on taking AP Econ this year so I don’t know how easy it is but from previous seniors I heard it was difficult but not as bad as AP Chemistry or AP Biology.
I’m currently taking Econ (not online), and right now, it’s not super bad, and somewhat interesting. Obviously its still the beginning of the year and it’ll get harder. If you are to take it, definitely understand all the concepts thoroughly, meaning don’t memorize the concepts, but understand why it is that way.
