I am a freshman and I am taking an ap world test next Thursday. I have studied some, though not as much as some people might (nearly done reading barron book 5 times). Our school does not offer ap world, so we take the test during world history honors. I think I need to practice essay writing some more, as I have never written a ccot essay in my life before (don’t write those in honors). I took the multiple choice practice test in the barron’s book, and got 90% right, but the test will probably be much harder. I need to get at least a 4, and I am really nervous. What should I do during these few days? Sorry if I posted this in the wrong spot. I do not know if I should start a new thread or if I should post in the official ap world thread. Please do not ban me.
Hey! I’m taking the APWH exam next thursday too, and I am actually enrolled in the current class. To be honest, essays are a vital part of the AP exam itself, so you really should practice writing those essays. Follow the rules in the books and go to websites like getafive.com, who offer video lectures catered towards the APWH exam, with great videos explaining essay structure too.
With a 90% on the multiple choice, along with basic essays, you should be able to score a four! But if you want to see for yourself, you can go to: http://appass.com/calculators/world .
Good luck!!!
