Hello, I plan on taking 9 units at a local community college (History 7, Soc 1, intro to philosophy) while in high school, I’ll be taking AP GOV, AP CS, Psychology, Math, Elective, Language arts. Do you think it’s a possible to keep up with studying/work load while taking high school classes and 3 classes at a CC
I don’t know how you expect us to answer that. We don’t know your EC’s or work ethic or how hard the classes are (of course college classes are hard but in varying degrees). You should know how much work you can handle and from there you can figure out what classes you should take or if you need to cut back on some things to do your homework. You have five social science classes (guessing Soc 1 is sociology - correct me if I’m wrong) and I think that’s unnecessary, even if you plan to go into that field. Cut back on one or two to handle the rest of your homework or have that elective class as a free period. I’m guessing you’re a junior or senior and both years are the most crucial in your high school career. Make sure you have time to prepare for the SAT/ACT and/or work on your college apps.
