I am taking Chem 2 over the summer and its been awhile since I took chem 1. What should I review?

Chem II usually covers stuff that doesn’t overlap with I a whole lot. I is chemical structures, equations, acids, bases, equilibria, stoichiometry. II is mainly thermodynamics, kinetics, electrochemistry, transition metal coordination compounds. I’d review chemical equations, structures, and equilibria a bit though.

Know how to calculate molarity. This is a very important part from Chem 1 that shows up right off the bat in Chem 2.

Brush up on your algebra and other math skills. Most freshman chem classes are just applied math, and feature little or no actual chemistry.

Alright thanks. I think I remember how to do molarity. I should also be fine with the math since I am currently in differential equations the last course of my engineering math sequence.
