<p>I am trying to transfer from cal state which is semester system. UCLA requires two terms of general chemistry for engineer majors. I'm planning to take INTRO to general chem in the spring, which is my pre req for civil engineering, and i was wondering if i will be affected if i dont get a chance to take just general chemistry at my school? and only taking 1 semester of it have anything effect too?</p>
<p>Doesnt the schedule go , Intro, Gen I , Gen II, and ucla wants Gen I and II?</p>
<p>If you want to be competative coming from Cal State you SHOULD actaully i would say you MUST have your preqs done.
Reason for this is because you get a low transfer priority level. All the community colleges get first dibs, then comes you. A lot of people in your way so you want to look your best.</p>
<p>yeah thats how the schedule is... but i dont know how i can get General chem 1 and 2, if im taking intro next semester... i need intro as a prereq to get into general chem 1.</p>
