Taking Classes Twice = Negative?

I learned absolutely nothing in my Spanish2 class and am thinking of retaking it next year with a better teacher, however... is it a bad move?

Should I just take Spanish3 and suffer?
I want to take German1, but there is always the 3-years-suggested for foreign language...

your opinion?

There is basically no difference between Spanish 2 and 3. Trust me; I’m still hating on myself for wasting a year of my life on Spanish 3 when I could have taken Spanish 4 or even AP Spanish. So, yeah, you will not suffer if you take Spanish 3; you might even learn enough in the class to skip right to AP (it’s really not that difficult).

taking classes twice = pointless

To be honest, I learned very little Spanish because I had the class with two of my closest friends. Our teachers hated us. It’s funny though because it seemed like in Spanish 2 I coasted through the year with 70’s. Then I took Spanish 3 and I got an A. However, on our first final I got a 44, still passed teh first semester with an 80 though lol.

Unless your guidance counselor screwed over your transcripts, which is what happened to me, don’t bother repeating the class.

At the most you can take a class at a community college or just go buy a review book and just flash through it over the summer.

Spanish III is like Spanish II reinforced; there’s no real difference.

The difference comes between III and AP.

Just take spanish 3 - they’re all the same, and it’s not worth making the colleges curious as to why you retook

I’m not in spanish, but all the spanish kids in my school say that Spanish 3 is super hard, and then they get all suicidal about it.

But schools differ.
