Hi! I’m a junior at a small rural school (skipped a grade, so still age 15). I took BC Calc in 9th (skipped AB), then MVC and DiffEQ in 10th (online through CTY) and now Linear Algebra in 11th (1st semester). Plan to take Intro to Abstract Math next semester. I love math but I feel like I am basically teaching myself these classes. But, there are no other options for me b/c the nearest (community) college doesn’t offer past Linear Algebra, but usually not even that b/c not enough kids sign up. I am getting Bs in these classes and I’m worried that elite schools like MIT, Harvard and Stanford will ding me for those grades, despite the high level of the classes themselves. What do you think?
