i'm enrolled in economics 1 because it's a pre-req for Haas, but math isn't really my strong suit. i struggled through ap calc and my algebra i guess is decent, but i'm not sure if am by berkeley's standards. should i use the pass/no pass option or will that look bad for haas?

it will not only look terrible for haas, they won’t have it at all. ALL pre reqs for calc are to be taken for a letter grade unless passed out via AP, etc. and if you think taking breadths for P/NP is a good idea, i’d think twice. think of your competition here and put yourself in the judge’s seat. this will be your new best friend: [Admissions for UC Berkeley Students, Undergraduate Program - Haas School of Business, UC Berkeley](<a href=“Admissions - Undergraduate Program - Berkeley Haas”>Admissions - Undergraduate Program - Berkeley Haas)
