Taking math 105 and Economics at the same time

Everyone says taking Econ and calc in the same semester is very difficult and stressful. Is this the same with taking Econ and math 105 (precalc) at the same time? PLEASE ONLY POST IF YOU OR SOMEONE YOU KNOW HAS DONE THIS!

Absolutely not. Not to mention like half of applicants to the BBA who take both calc and econ 101 at the same time. Especially precal shouldn’t be a problem, unless you just do not like econ as a subject. Perhaps taking Econ and calc at the same time is “very difficult and stressful,” but do people get through it just fine? Of course.

assuming you’re talking about econ 101, those are the easiest courses in their respective departments. neither of the courses are difficult nor time consuming.

I took both last year. I will be a sophomore next year. I got an A- in Math 105 and an A in Econ 101, so it is very possible. Math 105 is not a very difficult class.
