Taking PolSci 1 and Hist 7B with lecture conflict?

I wanted to take PolSci 1 and Hist 7B this summer, but the lectures conflict.
Both are 12-2PM, M-Th.

I am taking the classes as P/NP, but do you think I can pull it off by attending only one of the lectures? I will still go to discussions.

yeah i think so, you just have to read the textbook.

Don’t do it. The midterms in those classes happen DURING the alloted lecture time. So you can’t take two midterms at once ;)

crab, firetruck, shift gears!
will the teacher understand? how do i know if midterms overlap in the summer?

Do they even give midterms over the summer—I thought just finals?

But the professors will definitely not understand. They’re not gonna make exceptions because you decided to intentionally cause problems for them.

Attempting to take two courses during the same time slot is beyond stupid. Do not do it.

Ok, I think I wont do it now.

I think I found something that can save you

[Online Courses - UC Berkeley Extension](http://extension.berkeley.edu/cat/online.html)

you can take History XBW7B (an online version of 7B offered by extension). Hist XB7B and Hist XBW7B count as equivalent to Hist 7B according to Sproul Hall.

You can also take Political Science XBW1 online too.

If you take the classes online, you will save a lot on tuition and also you will be able to live at home instead of Berkeley (which is probably cheaper).

Wow, I totally forgot about the Extension courses.
Thanks!
