Taking sat TWOS 3 times +

Everybody says it's not "good" to take SAT I 3 times +

but what if u take the Same SUBJECT test 3 times?

(on the 3rd time, you ace it!)

will colleges think you're a freak? not consider the score?

how about 4 times?

(disregard the $$ thing.)

after all, Education is priceless :)

If you still aren't satisfied with your score after two (or three, or four...) sittings, that subject test is probably not the right one for you.

I'd recommend studying something else instead.

not necessarily

i've reached the 700+ level...but i just want to go higher!
into the 800, or 780 790 place u know

i think that i just need TIME to study for it

for example, first SAT II is october. I wont have time to cram every bio information in my head by then

but if i keep studying, and keep taking, it will definitely get better for me
(same with my ACT/us history tests)...time is only problem

but, regardless of that, will adcoms care if i take it that many times?

I've wondered this as well.

I've taken the regular SAT's twice...but I'm going to be taking the SAT 2's three times.

So unlike most students who take the regular 3 times, and sat 2's twice...i'm switching it

anyone?

If you've already reached 700+, then don't worry about it.

How many other SAT II's have you taken? How are you doing on the SAT?

700, 730, 750, 800.

will retake my 750 (math II)
and 700 (Bio)

i want 3 800s.

my sats are horrible. 1700 new 1100 old. 32 ACT

i just want my ACT to cover my SAT I's.

but i REALLY REALLY want the 800s!

Wait, are you saying that you want to take the SAME SAT II 3+ times or different tests 3+ times? I think the latter would be ok, even natural, to take more than 3 tests if you find you don't do as well, but taking the same SAT II 3+ times might be pushing it...

:)

When you present your Sat II adcoms will see your Sat I scores.

You should clearly go for an 800!

I would study more rather than taking the real one as practice and wasting all that money. Don't take it again until you're confident in the 800. Get some practice books!

It seems a lot of top schools only consider the highest score(s). Hopefully this will become popular among colleges.

I've become paranoid with this question too... This kind of sounds like the AP scores situation. Although many colleges say they don't consider AP scores or the lower SAT scores, we're always in disbelief.
