Will taking the same subject test 3 times (Math II) hurt my chances at UC Berkeley?
I got 710, 780, and want an 800.

I don’t think it will hurt you, but I don’t think it’s a valuable use of your time since a 780 is a great score and I don’t think the 800 will mean much more in your admissions review. If you’re the kind of person who needs the “perfect” score to feel validated in some way, go for it. But if you’re doing it because you think you’re going to have a significantly better chance of admissions with a 800, as opposed to a 780, I don’t think it’s valuable.

Agreed with the comment above. A 780 is an awesome score that most, if not all colleges, would be impressed with. Heck, my friend was just accepted to Columbia this past fall with a 760 Math II score. Your acceptance WILL NOT be affected in any way by the possible chance of earning an extra 20 points on a subject test. Trust me, they have more important factors on which to assess your candidacy.
