Taking the best SAT SCORES!???

Do colleges like Harvard, princeton, yale, etc

take your BEST sat scores from each section and put them together?

or do they just take the best SAT scores from one sitting?

cuz on my earlier SATS I got:

Writing: 790
CR: 800
Math: 700
Combined = 2290

This May, I got:
Writing: 790
CR: 750
Math: 750
Combined = 2270

Now, would MOST colleges take my 790 writing score, combine it with my higher 750 math score, and my then take my 800 CR score to get a total of 2340?

Or would they only take single-sitting scores?

most take combined

it's called superscoring, and most private colleges do that. the UCs take best single sitting, however, i believe. also umich takes best single sitting. CHYMPS superscores.
