I took my SATs in June of my junior year. I am already signed up to take it again in October of my senior year. However, I am thinking… if I do not do as well as I want to in October, I was thinking of taking it again in December. I will be taking my subject tests in November so I can’t take the SAT in November. I know it would be pretty late and I know that I wouldn’t be able to apply for early action or early decision. I especially want to apply to schools like Binghamton, NYU, or BU.
So i guess what I’m thinking of is a back up plan I guess (just in case I dont do as well as I want to in October). Just pretty worried, that’s all. So would it still be okay to take the SATs in December even if the regular decision is in early/mid January? Thanks !
Yep, I know a kid who got into NYU this year and he was taking the SAT in December of his senior year. You’ll be fine!
