Taking the SAT more than once.

If an applicant gets 2320 on his first attempt, will he have better chances than an applicant with the exact same profile, but a 2000 on his first attempt, and a 2320 on his second?

So basically, do colleges see your best score only?

Schools that superscore will only be interested in your highest score. Unless the second applicant is retaking the SAT for the fifth time or something, they’ll be on an equal footing.

Thanks. I was just cursing myself for sending my earlier SAT score before getting at. As it turned out, the score was just sad. Since I’m applying ED, and taking SAT 1 in October and SAT 2 in November, I’ll be sending my older SAT score if I don’t receive my Oct SAT results. I hope they understand. :/
