Taking the SAT reasoning or +2 subject tests

Hello everyone,

I'm a International student (applying ED) who took the ACT w/ writing (!35!) so far and I just signed up to take 3 SAT subject tests in october. To give admissions a better impression, I'd like to take the SAT reasoning or 2 more subject tests in November, but I'm a completely unsure what to do! Any ideas, anyone?

Thanks for any advice!

Test policy varies from school to school. Most commonly, schools will accept either (1) the ACT with Writing, or (2) the SAT reasoning and 2 SAT subject tests. Some schools, however, will always require SAT subject tests. So yes, if you’re still not sure about where you’re applying to, it’s always a good idea to take subject tests.

I would not recommend taking the SAT reasoning in November, since your ACT is already great. Submit the ACT score along with your subject test scores (which you can retake in November to improve). Keep in mind, however, that some schools will only look at the highest two SAT subject test scores and disregard the lower ones.
