<p>Any tips for the English TAKS? And does anyone know when the other ones are?</p>
<p>Sometimes on TAKS they ask these CRAZY questions and you're like "<strong><em>! Niether one of these are right" or "</em></strong>! Any of these could be right!" and it baffles my whole class. It ****es me off. </p>
<p>Does anyone know how to get a 3 on the short answers?</p>
<p>Does anything really good happen if you get commended? Maybe I'll actually take my time this year.</p>
<p>Its REALLY REALLY hard to get a 3 on the short answers. I've never have gotten a 3, and I'm getting like 10s on the SAT essay.</p>
<p>Nothing special happens if you get commended, sadly. I always get it though, so for me it's bad if I don't.</p>
<p>The rest of the TAKS will be given at the end of April. Texas won't do anything if you receive commended, but sometimes schools or school districts offer incentives for good performance.</p>

<p>for the first time in my high school, since they're trying to boost TAKs scores, they offered sophomore exemption from finals if they pass the TAKS. :)</p>
<p>Colleges couldn't care less about TAKS scores.</p>
