I have just sent in my application to TAMS. I am really concerned about my chances, because I really want this. Could someone tell me if I have any chance of making it? It's okay, be brutally honest.

On my SAT I received an overall score of 1670. My math was a 480. My writing was a 600. My critical reading was a 590.
I have a 5.89 GPA on a 7.0 scale. I am involved in:

-Physics Club
-Philosophy Club
-STUCO
-Algebrainics

Also, I am currently taking:
-Algebra 2
-Geometry
-World History honors
-English 2 honors
-English 3 AP
-Chemistry

And I have previously taken Bio Honors, Alg 1 Honors

Over the years, the average SAT Math score for incoming Juniors has been 695-720. Yeah, I know. That’s really high for a mid-semester sophomore.

If you have any specific questions about the TAMS program or the interview process, email tams.outreach@**** and they can answer all of your questions (that is a gmail email address in case it blocked it out). You can also be connected with a current student to ask them questions about their experience with the interview and with things in general about being a TAMS student. It’s a great resource!
