Boogie818, congratulation to your son !!! Wish him all the best.

what are the first things to look for before being accepted, specifically engineering? is it the major change under status?

@burnerphone415 I did not know I was accepted into general engineering until I received an email that same day. I typically check my AIS daily, so it was a nice surprise to receive both the email and major change on the same day.

Six tabs this morning - Blinn TEAM for Business.

Does AIS have to update to show admitted before you can apply for housing? We have the six tabs but cannot apply for housing.

AIS will probably update today or tomorrow and then you can apply for housing!

congrats congrats !!! stats? and are u considered doing blinn team ? I feel that I am going to get the same offer  but this is the first Blinn Iā€™ve seen!

Non-ranking school and was put in second quarter by A&M. 30 ACT, Eagle Scout and lots of extracurricular, volunteer and leadership roles.
I was thinking I would get TEAM since Mays was full. I will likely accept.

Congratulations! I have the same stats as you @linbad but not an Eagle Scout. Lots of leadership roles, Boys and Girls Club Mentor, Lead Volunteer at my Public Library. I would be more than happy to receive Blinn Team! Was there any other indication you received Blinn Team or was it just the 6 tabs?

Is anyone seeing some small changes to their Howdy? Maybe Iā€™m imagining thingsā€¦ still just 3 tabs but a few extra options that were not there this weekend.

Curious if anyone has seen any review admits from the college of agriculture yet?

So, this morning my sonā€™s portal changed to 6 tabs and in AIS, his Majors changed-- first choice is now ā€œGeneral Studies/Blinn Teamā€ and Second Choice is ā€œScience/Biology.ā€ Question-- Does he still have a chance to get his second major choice or is he definitely Blinn Team? His app still says ā€œin review.ā€

@tamuletmeim in AIS my major has also changed to Blinn TEAM General Studies (major BAC) but still says in review. That should update later today.

my friend also got Blinn-TEAM today. Her major is childhood education/education. I know she didnā€™t have the best ACT score but her essay was really well written.

Is anybody still in Engineering review?

so if we havenā€™t heard today yet or have 6 tabs does that mean we arenā€™t going to get a decision today?

@thesaraimartinez - Yes. Painfully still waiting to hear from Engineering Holistic review. Son has already been invited to admit to TAMUG (back in Oct.) because he applied directly with them. So the ā€œ6 tabsā€ indicator is irrelevant to us. Really would like to hear from CS soon. Kinda freaking out about whether or not to apply for housing at Galvi. Applied in July (to both campuses), back-to-back 29ā€™s on ACT, top 25%, volunteering, clubsā€¦

Yep, still waiting for Engineering review, no six tabs or Blinn team notice as of now at 10:12 a.m.

Congrats to yā€™all who received Blinn Team. For those still waiting, I know there are more full admit decisions out there and Team. PSA may be a smattering of notifications and then a big release of those at the end. So happy for the Teamers. I know several students that did this for Mays and ended up graduating with highest honors from TAMU. They said it was the best route for them and cost effective.

Engineering decisions should be coming out soon. Wondering if there will be a time crunch on accepting them like last year.
