TAMU or UT Chances

Hey all to the College Confidential Community.

OK so here is my current situation. I am currently attending a local community college as a sophomore in Engineering.

I want to either transfer to A&M or UT's Nuclear E program or Mechanical E for UT.

I have an overall GPA of 3.62. Looking to raise that to at least 3.7 by end of this current fall semester

My grades are as followed:

Calculus 1: B
Calculus 2: In progress spring semester

Calc based physics 1: A (with honors)
Calc based physics 2: B

Engineering Chemistry: B

All other general requirements: ALL A's

NOTE: ALL the B's i received is because i attempted these courses during the summer. otherwise I attempted the remaining classes in the spring semester 2010 (25 hours in total) with a 4.0

Total hours in cumulated: 46+12 the current semester

Basically, what I would like input is on :

What do you feel about my chances of getting in to either of these schools?

Thanks for reading. Any advice/suggestions are welcome

UT doesn’t have a nuclear program.

that is why i said “or Mechanical E for UT.”

^iambored10 was referring to your phrase, “A&M or UT’s Nuclear E program.”

I’m having bit trouble editing my old post.

however, is there anyone able to chance me?
