Tasp 2007

I'm so not missing the next TASP chat. At least I hope.

I was reading the 2006 TASP thread and I was so amused. Our thread is WAY COOLER, but aside from that, I saw so many of the same questions. Heck, I can even draw parallels between certain people. :D It was so strange, reading the thread from beginning to end, knowing some of the people that got in. shakes head Anyway. Oh MAN. I seriously, seriously, SERIOUSLY hope they let me do interviews. crosses fingers, eyes, and toes

Yanners: OH MY GOD. Your photography is AWESOME. I also have a DeviantART account, though I never update and it sucks. You should enter the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards next year!! www.artandwriting.org

There are some people here I hope get into TASP SO MUCH. Wah. Good luck. <3 <3

To answer DC, all of the above. ^_^

The essays are mainly read by those that live in the Telluride Houses, too, methinks. I could be wrong.

I'd interview in PR and by phone, in any case. Sigh.

aida, I hope we ALL get into tasp.

LOL, if only the telluride people can see this thread, they would know how hardcore we are

EVEN ME!

lol, jk, obviously.

Well, EH. I've seen some people here that seem more interested in what TASP can do to help them get into college and how good it looks on their applications, so I can't say everyone. But still. A fair bunch of you seem genuine. :)

inkspill,

I believe you sent me your essays. (Your first name starts and ends with 'a'?). Check your e-mail i sent you a response.

edit: Never mind I see you got them. Haha stream of consciousness was what i was aiming for. Faulkner anyone?

yeah, fyi everyone: DirectorCut's essays are really good. yeah....

inkspill's essays would draw teardrops from chuck norris' eyes...many teardrops...

Aida - parallels?

I was wondering, for the essay that asks
"What are your plans and objectives for future education? If you have specific career possibilities in mind, discuss what has influenced your choice."

Do we need to write a real essay for this one? or is it more like a short answer type of thing?

please let me know!

OMG I have now finished two essays.

YES.

I am done, but I CANNOT press the submit button!

can anyone send me their essay? aim=zachsta830

DO IT! DO IT! DO IT!

I believe in you Ken :)

btw, how long is the future education essay supposed to be?

I finally mailed my application! WHOOO! I also had my mom take pictures of me dropping the envelope in the blue mailbox, so its all documented!
I must say, it feels LIBERATING to have it all in, although I have to constantly stop myself from going back and rereading my essays. I know that if I do, I'll find a million little things that are still wrong with it. sigh

It should be about 4 pages single spaced 10pt font.

Also Directorscut you will never turn it in mwahhhhahaha

^^Hmmm bit.chy corey is no fun

Zachsta there is no real designated length, If your was mroe than 2 pages that would be to much, but its not like there is a 400 word limit or something. Just be clear and consise, no need to ramble about your future its gonna change anyways. :-)

Director I would be fliping out right now if i were you. GL

Inkspill YAY!!!!

God taking the pictures is so awesome. Post it ASAP!!!

YAY! i finished my book list and my future education essay! oh and im applying by mail, lol...

haha yea zachsta/sinkingstones, 2 pages max is a good standard, dont wry about it though

ahh director, i feel for you >.< refresh browser? restart?

inkspill, i totally empathize, my moms always like "stop wasting time admiring your essays!! you submitted them already" more like mind-bashing on my essays >.<

aww i missed the chat =[
i deleted aim, but hey, there's always meebo :D

can you guys believe it, ive followed my resolution of no aim for what?

21 days?!

faints
