<p>My daughter just submitted the Common App for UChicago. She is applying Early Action and the deadline for sending in a copy of the tax return is today. They prefer it be sent via her UChicago account, which could not be created until after her Common App was submitted. How can she create a account now? Do they send an e-mail with a link? How long does after submission of the Common App does it take?</p>

<p>They’ll send an email with a link a few days after submission. As far as I can tell, the financial aid deadlines are not nearly as stringent as the regular app. Some top schools will still give decision without financial aid estimate.</p>
<p>I faxed 2012 tax return and W2’s to UChicag using a cover sheet from UChicago web (Financial aid office). It was 15 page long fax, though.</p>
<p>Did you get any confirmation that they received your taxes?</p>
<p>I mailed it on 10/28. It arrived on 30th, but I didn’t see any confirmation in my uchicago account.</p>
