i applied to TCNJ early decision. I know that the deadline to find out is Dec 15, but i was wondering if anyone found out yet? And for people accepted in the past by early decision, when did you find out? thanks

Hey I applied early decision too. I haven't heard anything yet but I'm hoping to hear something soon! When did you apply?

about mid-october

i applied there too! it's been my first choice for awhile now!

I applied to TCNJ ED as well. I recently read that some schools will email acceptance notification the Friday before the 12/15 date - that would mean 12/12 for us.

I applied ED as well. [;

By the way, which schools did you guys apply to?

^ and by school I meant department~

And Golf Girl; Do you know if everyone will be getting email notifications or will some schools mail their notification?

bridgecourt91 - i went to the open house last weekend and i'm pretty sure i heard the letters go out December 10th, but i could be wrong. it could be the 12th like Golf Girl said. either way, it's very soon!

Lestat - i applied to the business school :)

Here's a little secret... If you can't wait for your letter then every night check your online admissions thing (anytime after 7pm) (should have received a username and password for it when you applied).. The day they send out your letter they will change your status to accepted and then ask if you accept your acceptance.. So you can find out if you got accepted a day or two before the letter arrives.. That being said, don't panic if you don't see it updated even after Dec. 12th. I didn't hear back from admissions until after my deadline to hear back! (although I was transfer admissions)..

Another admissions secret.. They send back the "NOT accepted" letters before the "accepted" ones.. I don't know why, but it's true.. So the longer you wait the better your chances are..

--This is golden information. It took me over a year to figure out their admissions process, but these 2 secrets, or patterns i should say, always hold true... Good luck

I think how it works is that some schools (not all) will email admissions decisions the Friday before the 12/15 deadline, but will ALSO send notification in the regular mail by 12/15. I dont know if TCNJ does this; it was just something I read on a college website...can't remember which one.

almost forgot... in response to Lestat, I applied to the school of education. I would like to major in special ed.

thanks for the posts

I'm planning to go to culture and society

i need an answer ...I'm really apprehensive :-(

I'm extremely anxious myself. I applied to TCNJ back in the beginning of October, and I started looking at colleges when I was in 8th grade (I have 3 entire bookshelves dedicated to college guide books, SAT prep books, every issue of Newsweek's College Edition since 2005, etc.) So all this waiting is driving me crazy! Anyway, good luck everybody! :-)

I applied ED as a Bio major and I can't wait until Dec 15th. 11 DAYS!!!!

i went in open options culture and society and open options science
it's hard i still don't know what i want to major in yet :)
the wait is killing me....only one more week to go!!!!!!

Open options science for me. (:
And only 10 days left!~

My son got his offer of admission online today - school of science. What a relief!

hey...I also got accepted today! I'm open options culture and society, what a relief!
who else got in? :)

i don even know what to think right now, all my log in says is that the application is complete. :(

priya, did you click on "accept admission"? It's a separate link under admissions on the base navigation page. The application status just stays the same - complete.

Congratulations to all students on your acceptances!
