Hello Fellow CCers!

I'm a first time poster even though I have browsed the forums for a long time here! :)

I wanted to post because I was accepted to both TCNJ and RPI and was wondering if any fellow forum members could help shed some light on either of them.

I'd like to major in Electrical Engineering and as such would like some input as to what anyone thinks strengths and weaknesses are of BOTH schools.

Can anyone help me out?

I'm really torn between the two and any constructive input would be greatly welcome! :)

From an academic standpoint, probably RPI. Can’t give to much info though as I’m a science major but I heard RPI is great for any sort of engineering.

TCNJ engineering program has a 100% job placement after college and the price is much lower then RPI.

With all due respect to TCNJALUM2011…You can not compare TCNJ to RPI in regard to engineering or architecture. RPI is a great school and especially in the two majors that I mentioned. You may want to post the thread that says TCNJ has 100% job placement in engineering because they may have 100% job placement but that doesn’t mean that their grads aren’t working in Starbucks. I just find your numbers hard to believe since many of my own kids friends, who are engineers from the very top schools, are still unemployed or not working in the engineering field.

You may love your school but it is important when offering advice to someone to consider the question. Your response was just too far out there to even have any validity.
