@acceptme2022 I also have no doubt you will be accepted. I know it’s hard to wait, but I think you’ll get news soon.
@acceptme2022 Did you respond to the email and provide an alternate major?
Congratulations to @CluelessLeader, @livv13, and @RustyNail17 .
Thanks @toast18 . D is away this weekend so I’ll wait to tell her until she gets home.
No, I stuck with comp sci because I’m not too interested in other majors, and they said if I switched there would be no guarantee I could transfer back into comp sci
@acceptme2022 I hope you get accepted. I think it’s important that you have a strong idea of what you want to do.
I got my envelope this morning! I applied in early January for Biology. No mention of merit, but they offer reduced tuition for the children of their employees so I’m not too worried about that aspect.
@acceptme2022 Numbers are not as impressive as yours…I’m certain good news and some money are coming your way. If not? I am sure you have other schools that would welcome you with open arms.
Livv13 … I believe you received $8,000 per year for a total of $32,000 over four years? That is the way my son’s acceptance letter read. He will also be majoring in math.
@mamainspire What were your son’s stats and major? Assuming it is 2K a year for 4 years?
@acceptme2022 Don’t give up hope, I believe that last year acceptance letters were sent out in batches.
Good luck!
Yes $2k year for total of 8k
1300 SAT
3.9 GPA
History major
@MACmiracle Regarding the TCNJ’s honors program @tpcrd66 posted (4-24-17) “After acceptance, select applicants will receive either an invitation to join the honors program, or an invitation to apply to the program, writing an essay.”
Thanks @RustyNail17
My out-of-state student was accepted today by snail mail (although it’s also up on his PAWS account).
No mail for me the past couple of days, I think they’re waiting for the major change deadline to pass, perhaps then they’ll take action on my application when they realize I’m not changing my major
My daughter still has not gotten notification. I know 2 others that got notification on Saturday. So frustrating. Note, she was NOT sent an email about changing her major so who knows what that means.
I also know 2 people who got letters towards the end of last week/over the weekend, maybe they’re sending everything out in batches, or our applications are still under consideration… @palves
My daughter and her friend were deferred from early decision and now still hasn’t heard back. It’s a bit annoying - you know these kids want to go just give them an answer. It has totally turned her off from the school to the point she doesn’t even want to go.
My son is exact same as your daughter, deferred and turned off now.
