TCNJ REGULAR DECISION CLASS OF 2022

When are decisions going to start coming out? I know on their website it says no later than April but does anyone know if decisions were earlier in the past years.

Look up the post for regular decision 2017. Looks like it came out mid February last year. We’re waiting too!
Good luck!

@toast18 Thanks

in past years TCNJ RD decisions went out as early as mid jan/feb

So many other schools seem to be doing in several weeks earlier so hopefully they will as well!

It looks like TCNJ ED2 decisions don’t come out until Feb 1, so regular decision will have to be at least a week or two later, I would assume.

Can someone chance me so I don’t get my hopes up? My SAT was 1200 and my GPA 3.6.

@pandaqureshi999 You’re right in the middle in terms of your scores and GPA. What are your extracurriculars

Not that many, Varsity Soccer Junior and senior year. Plus I worked after school. Freshmen and sophomore year, I did overseas.

I think it will be 50/50 for you, hope you get accepted into TCNJ. @pandaqureshi999

S received acceptance and $12,000 year scholarship in the mail today.

@deb12267 Is that all merit scholarship or does that include financial aid?

I’d curious if the merit scholarship limit changed that much.

That is awesome news for you and would be great for other students, too. Congratulations!

When did your S apply?

ETA: Maybe you are OOS for TCNJ which would explain the awesome scholly??

@MACmiracle Thank you.

Yes, all merit and yes, out of state. And so $12,000 year is awesome, but its still expensive for us.

He submitted app early November. Probably that first week.

My S heard today OOS - he got into the Nursing program. HOWEVER he needs to write three additional essays in order to qualify for anywhere from $1000-$12000 merit a year - what the heck -
He will do it but why not have him write it back in October when he applied.

@Momtofourkids My D would be very annoyed to have to write more essays. But at least you have the chance for merit.

@MACmiracle - yes - to be able to apply for merit is a good thing!!

@Momtofourkids just curious if anything was updated on your S portal. My S applied early November, in-state and hasn’t heard anything.
Thanks,

Did you find out via the portal first

@PSH1215 and @SO180242 - We found out through old fashioned snail mail. It came in a large white envelope. I did try and check the portal yesterday before I got the mail and it would not let me in. I checked today and while I was able to get in the portal did not look any different. But we have the written document saying he’s in. GOOD LUCK!

Is the Nursing program considered Early Decision? Waiting on RD!
