Regular Decision response?

Hey guys!
I applied for Bio Regular Decision at TCNJ on November 2nd. I still have'nt heard back from them. Do you guys have any idea as to when TCNJ sends out their decisions for RD? And also did anyone who applied RD get a response already?

Regular Decision doesn’t get mailed out until January 15th or at least that what college board says. ^^

The College of New Jersey prides itself on giving every application the most thorough review possible. While TCNJ makes every effort to notify students regarding their admission decision as early as possible (starting February 15th), some applications will undergo multiple reviews before a final decision is made. Therefore, the Admissions Office can only guarantee that a decision will be mailed prior to April 1st, no matter how early the student applies.

straight from TCNJ Admissions website

I just heard back today. I checked online, though. No email or anything, I just decided to check my app status.

S checked his status online and it says admitted too. No email or snailmail yet.

i checked my PAWS too but it doesn’t say anything. i probably am not admitted :[

You have to go into the accept or reject admission tab, not just app status to find out.

When D phoned tcnj she was told 1st batch of responses went out this week. Another batch will be sent out again in about three weeks.
My D was ED deferred to Reg Decision. She improved grades with 3.715 gpa this year 3.56 junior year.SAT 600CR 620 Math 690 Writ. 1910 (up 50 from ed scores) AP Accel and Honor classes. Some Leadership positions and many volunteer hours but 3.25 fresh and soph year gpa. Rank 26th percentile at end of Junior year. -Reach? She rc’d merit awards: 70,000 seton hall, 32,000 marist 52,000 LaSalle so recs and essay must have been ok. Thanks -Oh she is Elementary Educ/Engish major

You should get a letter. I just got accepted for bio yesterday and applied November also so don’t worry. My accept admission thing didn’t change until the day I got my letter in the mail.

Thanks -Guess we’ll wait and see. Congratulations and best of luck to you cometstarg!!

Did your daughter send in a recent report card showing her improvement? because i had good freshman and sophomore grades but horrible junior year ones. I sent in my first senior year report card (which was good) and explained my not so great grades. I think showing much improvement really helped me out.

Yes thanks- she sent qtr 1 and 2 senior grades 3.716 and 3.714 so we’ll see. She understands her chances are slim but will jump at the chance to attend. If not I believe she’ll do fine with Marist. -Thanks again! Im hoping to write you in a month or so with good news.

I wish her the best of luck.

I am so confused as to why i haven’t heard back yet…i applied ED so shouldn’t i hear soon? :(

You should have heard back December 15th according to the website. If you got deferred to RD then you should be hearing back soon. Sending in additional items that make you look good should help if you haven’t already, like a recent report card.
