TCNJ vs. Pitt?

<p>Right now, I"m a freshman at the University of Pittsburgh, but I'm looking into possibly transferring to TCNJ. I'm from NJ, and I've found that I really don't like how far away I am from home. Are the schools comparable? I know Pitt is a bigger name, but otherwise, I'm wondering how they compare.</p>

<p>Also, can anyone give me any information on the transfer process in general? Application dates, etc.? Preferably, I'd want to come to TCNJ in Fall 2014.</p>

<p>I believe both schools are good and comparable, each has its own strength; it also depends on your field of major, Pitt may have more opportunities in Science and Research, but the distance from NJ may deter some people. TCNJ’s faculties and students we met are courteous; the size is smaller than Pitt, I’m not sure about the resources and intern opportunities, and it is famous for education related majors.
