Have gotten into UVA and Duke for engineering. Cost is $40,000 and $50,000 respectively. Also admission to The College of New Jersey.... total 4 year cost about $50,000, also in engineering. Probably a biomedical engineering major, maybe medical school or at least graduate degree. Which is the best option? Does name really count for biomedical engineering? TCNJ's graduation statistics/job outlook for engineers look great on paper! Are the others worth the cost differential?

TCNJ is great if you are thinking about staying and getting a job in New Jersey. Duke has a great national reputation for engineering, especially biomedical.

And I don’t think name matters, but that depends on where you want to work. TCNJ is a up and coming school and should be getting a lot more publicity over the next few years so by the time you graduate, a degree from TCNJ will be more valuable.

If you’re considering medical school with any seriousness, Duke is great in that area. There’s great advising and a world class medical center right on campus.
