I did apply for transitional funding!
I also did not have a role playing question… and I’m in the process of applying for transitional funding.
I did not get a role-playing question, but I didn’t read too much into that given my interviewer asked me more about the group activity question and why I choose the option I choose. To my understanding, they want to know how we rationalize a given situation, so if you’re asked about something you found challenging and how you overcame it by using the STAR method, you should be fine.
I was initially very stressed out about this whole process and whether or not I would ultimately get accepted to TFA, but after thinking about it, there are plenty of alternatives that do similar work to TFA and don’t have such a daunting and time consuming application process.
@ssgradstudent same here my interviewer focused more on the group activity question.
@ssgradstudent Could you tell me more about the alternatives?? I’ve been looking into other programs like TFA, but only Teaching Fellows really interested me.

Thank you so much for starting this forum! I am a 3 DL applicant waiting on notification day (January 4th, 2016). The wait seems so long…but reading all your posts and updates helps greatly while waiting. More importantly it adds to my greater sense of purpose knowing we are here with same goal…that all day every child will have an equal education.
@Tfamemphisbound I thought that the notification date was January 6th? I hope am I wrong and you are correct though, so we can find out sooner!

How is everyone doing? How many of us are “in waiting” for the 3rd DL?
I wish I had found you guys sooner! I was so nervous during the entire application process. I am currently waiting to know if I got accepted into TFA. I’ll know by next month, but I am really nervous. I think my lesson and interview went well, but I’m still very nervous.
I was very stressed about the final interview, but the other applicants were awesome as were the interviewers. I felt very confident and comfortable by the time it was my turn to teach. Things did not feel tense or awkward. I enjoyed the final interview more than I expected!
If I get accepted I hope I get placed here in Memphis.
My transitional funding status changed to “YES” today 
I’m so excited to the 3rd DL I can’t wait any longer!
Welcome @teach901!! Best wishes to you as we wait for Jan 6th. Memphis was listed as highly preferred for me as well, along with Dallas, Houston, and New Orleans.
Yay! @cneda105! That’s a great sign! I received an email asking for more documentation for TF yesterday and almost lost it lol… that’s more action than my first time applying
Houston and Dallas were also in my top choices.
