@Tee201824 My timeline disappeared a while back and I logged in a couple days ago and now it’s back. Hope this doesn’t mean anything but it’s nice to know I’m not the only one!
I felt good leaving my interview. I was completely myself, so if it doesn’t workout I can’t say I have any real regrets. It was a fun day. The teaching activities were fun, meeting new people was also fun, the group activity was a great discussion. I hope and pray I get good news tomorrow - but if I don’t it’ll be okay, and I’m sure another opportunity will be around the corner.
Im glad ppl in the same situation are finnaly commenting lol! @dinnertime6
@Hope2DoWell , that’s the attitude…http://www.businessinsider.com/companies-hardest-interview-process-2011-6#11-red-ventures-10 According to business insider, TFA has one of the hardest interview processes, just to go through the process itself was honestly something I was grateful for.
https://www.forbes.com/sites/jacquelynsmith/2013/08/09/the-25-companies-that-give-the-most-difficult-job-interviews/#41615fd0137c also ranks the TFA interview processes one of the hardest. Both rate McKinsey as being the most difficult, so can’t imagine that one.
Can’t sleep :((
Should we even try to start looking at midnight lol
so nervous!! decisions come out today… its around 2pm right??
No clue - some have been around 1:30-2:00, while others have been around 5.

Good luck everyone! Hopefully, it will be good news for all of us!

HOUSING QUESTION
Got accepted into Teach for America, and placed in a new state. Obviously we need a place to live and we are trying to qualify to buy a home in our new area. Has anybody done this successfully?
We are getting push back because we are trying to close on April 30th, with my husband keeping his job back in VA, and school not starting until the end of August. They are trying to classify our new home as a “Second Home” since none of us have a “job” in the new area when we close. We need it to be classified as our “Primary Residence” to qualify for a 3% down on it instead of the Second Home 10% down requirement.
Any advise would be greatly appreciated!!!
