<p>After doing some research on Stony Brook's secondary education programs, I've come to realize that Stony Brook does not follow most other SUNY schools in the sense that the teacher education programs are split into two majors: the content major, plus the education major (while most SUNY schools have one joint major). </p>
<p>I've had my heart set on being certified to teach both mathematics and social studies. Is it possible to go through both these programs? Or no?</p>
