Do teachers submit their recommendations online? by mail? My friend is freaking out! Thank you!

It depends on the school or even teacher most likely. I know my counselor mailed her recommendation, while both my teacher evaluators submitted online.

Thanks! Now…how is a teacher supposed to submit online?

My friend submitted the teacher’s email address along with his application. But the teacher has not recieved an email from the admissions office nor can she find any link or anything on mit.edu

Again, thanks

Please note that there is no online recommendation system for MIT; recommendations will need to be on paper and mailed to the admissions office. We prefer that teachers use our forms, but it’s okay if your high school has its own form, or if teachers want to use the Common App’s paper recommendation form.

Strange, I think my teachers did it through either naviance or commonapp, but I don’t know for sure.

MIT recommendations should be submitted by mail to the admissions office.

The address for the admissions office can be found at the top of the recommendation form, as well as at the bottom of the admissions webpage.
