Teacher inputting false information

One of my recommenders indicated by mistake that he taught me in grade 10 only, while he taught me in both grades 10 and 11. Would this make the recommendation less strong? It is impossible to edit a recommendation after it is submitted.

Also, he mentioned in the letter that he have known me for 2 years. Would this raise any suspicions, and if yes will it make the recommendation less credible?

No to all your questions. This is a non-issue.

Great! Thanks

have it fixed grade 11 LoRs > grade 10

I would ask the college counselor at your school to work with the teacher to have it fixed. You should let the school handle if you waived your right to review the LORs just to avoid any mention that you’ve reviewed the recommendation. The colleges have asked for LOR from a current teacher or one from a previous year. A LOR from a 10th grade teacher will be discounted unless someone in admissions has a keen eye and notices the course is on your transcript as an 11th grade course. I would not hope for that and would have the error correct.

It is Ok guys, the issue is already fixed.

Thank you!
