<p>So I know Georgetown's teacher recs can only be sent through the mail, not online (I'm not sure why...). Does anybody know if they can be postmarked by 11:59 Nov 1 or is it by 11:59 Oct 31? Also, how bad is it if the teacher recs get postmarked and sent a day or two late?</p>

<p>I called Georgetown and they said not to worry. They’re very lenient, and as long as the teacher recs arrive within a couple of days after the deadline, it’s fine. Since they’re not receiving the kind of volume that Ivys and state schools receive, they’re much less rigid with their organization.</p>
