<p>D did a common app and everything including the recs were downloaded by the college in october. today got a notice the teacher rec they already downloaded is missing. i cannot figure out a way to resend the common app rec. any ideas?</p>
<p>Hummm…Who downloaded it, the college? If so, they should have a copy, right? If they don’t have one, you’ll have the teacher to send another. The only alternative I could think to do is to relist her as a recommender, and “invite” her again.</p>
<p>college did download it in october, i tried to reinvite the teacher but since he was already listed on the teacher list it did not retake it- there is a “resend” but i cannot figure out how to resend- the college sent D a notice it was missing and the name of the teacher (his recs went through to all the other colleges)</p>
<p>tried again. cannot resend if already sent. may have to send a reply to the college and hope they read it</p>
<p>ok the title may be misleading- should say ‘teacher rec missing from college check list even though it was downloaded by them’ appreciate any ideas- has anyone else run into this?</p>
<p>My daughter got a notice from Catholic U that 3 items were missing, 2 were downloaded on common app 4 days before the letter was sent. I think one end doesn’t always check the other, if it was downloaded,unless there was an error, they should have it.
Did you write them to tell them what you saw?</p>
<p>I just cut and paste the common app page with the october download by the college and sent it to them- will see what they do with it… if not effective will have to bother the teacher again.</p>
