Teacher rec question

if i got a teacher rec from my college professor from a summer class, is that still considered a teacher rec or jus a supplemental rec?

It's more of a supplemental recommendation. To my knowledge, colleges prefer that the teacher recs but from the HS that you attend and other recs from people that you may have worked with could be supplemental.

definitely supplemental.

crap are u serious? how am i gonna get a teacher rec within this week. omg i cant believe its supplemental

=[ get the teacher that loves you most to do it!

i think it's viable. don't bother.

at the end of the day, as long as any of your educators can validate you as a student of certain substance and caliber, unis would take the recs as they are. don't fret.

i hope your right cuRRent. cuz sure alot of teachers like me, but theyll be hell annoyed if i ask them this late sicne i did early decision. thats soo late

does it say on your app status check that you have forms 4A and 4B in?

the only missing credential is 4b rec. btw, how many recs do we give to brown??

Two. 10 characters

so if i sent a teacher rec and a guidance rec, can that suffice for the recommendation requirement?

and wut do u mean by 10 characters

No, the guidance rec is the Secondary School Report. You need a recommendation from two different teachers as well.

Posts must be 10 characters in length. "No." has an unacceptable character length, so I just put "10 characters" to get it to go.

oh really? hahah i really didnt know that with the 10 characters

eh, if you're missing form 4b rec, then your application isn't complete...

on the blanks next to your Teacher rec spaces, does it say the teacher's name??? b/c for my 4a, a name showed up, but for my 4b no name showed up...and now that i think about it, i cant remember if they said it was complete or not...

yes.. there should be two names

Mine also has two names. You should email them about it or something.
