TEACHER REC TEACHER REC Help!

ok so my teacher mailed the letter of recommendation ~2 weeks ago, before i submitted my app online one week after that. She mailed hers through snail mail btw. EVERYTHING is submitted besides the letter, which was technically submitted first...did it get lost in the mail? I called undergraduate admissions and they said to wait a week to see if it comes up on wolverine access---but i dont want to wait so late. will this put my application at the end of the line? should i send another one? THANKS

^ Hmm, my letter of recommendation showed up as received 2 days after I mailed it via snail mail, but I had my UM ID written on it, so that could have sped up the process.

If you call them again, and give the your UM ID, they should be able to check if they have the letter. If they have the letter and it just hasn’t been updated on WA, then you’re fine. If they still don’t have it, it may have gotten lost in the mail unfortunately. If you live anywhere in the US, it should have easily made it a while ago to U of M.

Id send a new one just to be safe…At least yours is done, my teacher told me she would do it in 3 days over 2 weeks ago…If she doesn’t do it by tomorrow, im just gonna have another teacher do it…I should have had her do it all along because she will write a better letter most likely
