I have a couple questions that -may- be common knowlege to the rest of you all.

First off, teacher reccomendations. I have ideas on who I'd like to write 'em, so do I print off the page from Common App? I'm applying online, so how does that work? Do I mail the reccomendation separately?

Also, what about the score reports for the SAT, ACT and APs? Do they trust the scores you type in, or are you supposed to back them up with a score report from College Board?

1) You print out the form from the Common App and give it to your teachers. You also give them addressed, stamped envelopes addressed to the schools to which you're applying. They make the copies and mail out the recommendations. You do not (absent unusual circumstances).

Alternatively, some schools have the teachers give the recommendations to the guidance counselor, who sends them along with the GC recommendation and your transcript. Check with your guidance office to see whether this is true for your high school.

2) You must send official score reports for SAT and/or ACT. You do not send official score reports for AP exams; they are not required for admission. Once you're accepted and decided where to go to school, you send the official AP score report to that school only to see if you'll get credit for the scores.
